Optics & Focus
Since it provides 45 degrees inclined 360 degrees digital binocular head it makes it easier to view the subject. The eyepieces have a wide field WF10X/18 and WF20X with eight-level magnification that can go up to 2000x. There is also a fine focus knob with rack and pinion adjustment.
How about the camera?
With 3MP built-in camera you can take 4 pictures per second in a higher resolution, and 10 pictures in a lower resolution. The maximum image resolution is 2048 x 1536 pixels, and it shows the subject in its true colors. To help with the visibility, there is a replaceable 3W LED light.
Accessories

Omax A35140U is not a whole microscope, but it’s just as useful. It’s a digital microscope camera that can attach instead of an eyepiece to improve the view. To make it work, you just have to plug it into your USB port. This camera can also work on microscopes that commonly don’t use a digital camera.
How does it work?
Just like a regular camera, it has its own software that is compatible with most Windows and Linux but a bit limited for Mac systems. With Omax A35140U you can take still or moving images in a 4096 x 3288-pixel resolution, which can be a drastic improvement if you had only, for example, 2MP camera.
Some technical characteristics
It’s compatible with a 23.2mm eyepiece tube (and two more) and it can only use 2.0 USB and it can be used on monocular or binocular microscopes. One of the great things about this 14MP model is that it can take a lot more pictures in a second than usual cameras, up to 27 pictures at low resolution.

Although you can consider this camera an accessory for your usual microscope, it does come with a few accessories on its own. Just like the last above, Omax A3550U is a camera that can be attached usual microscope to replace your old camera. This model also can be used most of the Omax models, as long as it fits the eyepiece tubes. It compatible with most Windows and Linux OS, and only with Mac OSX.
Images & Video
As you can imagine, frame speed can be very high or low, depending on the resolution. You can take 5 high-quality pictures in a second, or up to 60 pictures in a second. They come in an mpg format, which can be transcoded to any format you prefer. Additionally, make sure you use the light when taking the pictures or video, they will be of greater quality.

Omax A3550U uses 2.0 USB port to connect, and it can fit microscopes that have 23.2, and with the additional parts, 30 and 30.5mm eyepiece tubes. With a 0.5x reduction lens, you can get a bigger area of view. Furthermore, in case of any manufacturing defect, you get a one-year warranty.

This little camera comes with only a few accessories, two adapters for biggers eyepiece tubes, a CD to install the software, and USB port and the stage micrometer. How high-quality pictures can it take?
To answer immediately, very high-quality. At a resolution of 4912 x 3684, it can take 6 fps, and at its lowest resolution, 1228 x 922 it can take 32 fps. More, the software has some additional features like extended depth of fieldwork that make the pictures even better.
